1. Miss Evelyn Chan has been posted to Fuhua Primary School.
2. Miss Kristen is really feminine now and she even has a boyfriend. Bumped into her around saps and yay she still remembers me :)
3. Miss Lim KL the music teacher just got married a few days ago and she's now Mrs Ong!
4. SAPS Sports Carnival is on 29 May 2009
5. SAPS Table Tennis Match is on 30 May 2009

We, P5-5 of 2007 have come a long way... bonded with Miss Chiam last year and created a class blog.. made us more united. And I am glad that many of you still check this blog! Like Jiansheng who just tagged.. Qinyi, myself and Yak. And Ray too.

I'll really miss you guys when I leave pri school. I'm sure u guys will too. Let's keep in touch always yeah? I may call for a class gathering one of these days.

Since last year, we've been preparing for this stupid exam. PSLE. Last year, we were all SLACKERS. And time flew so swiftly. We've just finished it. Isn't that just amazing, haha?

Yes, I've added the countdown timer, see the days left, 40++ days only!

I hope you people remember Ms Chiam put up a banner in front of the class (near the door), saying this phrase:

''If you fail to plan, you plan to fail''

Planning a time table everyday is good for everyone. If you don't plan, or don't plan well, you will fail, or should say, getting a lower grade.

FOCUS:
When teacher is teaching, focus on what he/she say, take down not if necessary.
When doing sums/question, focus well on the questions to refrain from getting mistakes and double check your answers.

DETERMINATION, CONSISTENCY and PERSEVERENCE in your work are also factors you should remember when studying.
PSLE is your first major exam that you are going to face.
You have many more ahead of you as you grow older.
Learn how to cope stress, learn from mistakes and avoid making them again.
Study HARD + SMART :).

Okay, done here, above are just some tips from Ms Chiam on how to cope well for your upcoming PSLE. Good Luck for your Prelims..:)

I GOT 30/100 FOR SA1 HAHAHA I GOT OUT OF U GRADE.

I improved in English by 0.8 marks LOL.
Yeah I got 78.8/100. I got 78 for SA2 last year man! LOL.

I'll Miss You, 5-5.

The year 2007 goes so fast, in a blink of an eye.
Before we knew it, 5-5 is split up.
And today is the last day of school.
And in between of of FANTASTIC year, we had to deal with a big blow :(
Ms Chiam left for the NUS.
And Mr Wi came.

The class has changed, greatly.
Mr Wi actually makes the class funnier.

Ms Chiam, I hope you still remember us as we are still thinking about you!
We hope to see you again and if we do,
we'll go mad and crazy.
I can imagine what Robert will do.
But I know I will scream, jump, shout, or maybe cry ;)
Great time to see me cry eh.
Haha.

We will be split up into different classes next year,
and I hope we all will gather someday to remember about the fun times we had in this wonderful class.
I am planning to organise a class outing during the December holidays, as you know :D
Of course, not every one MUST go (:

Today after school when Ms Ng dismissed us,
me, Mingfei, and Qinyi went to class 5-5 for the last time to see how the class looked for one last time <3.
I took the Gatsby monitor thingy.
Heheh.
I remembered how Ms Chiam used to teach us,
and I almost cried :(
I remembered how Darren, Raymond, Robert and Shawn used to make the class laugh.
And all the class parties (:

Ms Kristen is so funny.
She said "Wow, you guys are famous already, some many photos of you in the school magazine!"
Hahaha.

Our last lesson was good, funny, but horrible for our teachers.
I am still in contact with Ms Chiam, in case you want me to say something to her O.O
I know I'm lame hahahahaha.

Remember the Gatsby performance put up by Robert, Shahrul, Junde, Darren and Jianxiong?
I know the whole school loved it cos my friend told me her whole class was singing it.

YAY, AFTER REACHED EAST COAST.
And Darren's generous and very FUNNY dad rented me, Yak and Darren bicycles
while Qinyi and Mingfei went rollerblading.
Halfway, there were some minor 'INJURIES' and 'FALLS'.
And my phone kept dropping out.
O.O

After 2 long and shiok hours of rollerblading and cycling,
Jianxiong and his cutie little brother Jianwei (yeah right cutie turns into devil) arrived.
Jianxiong, Darren and Jianwei, being the oh-so PROFESSIONIAL EXPERT cyclists and rollerbladers, went their own separate ways.
They went to Bedok Jetty while the 4 of us cycled to and fro.
And then, we passed by Outward Bound Singapore!
I was shouting my instructor's name when Qinyi got a little pissed off :D

Cycle here, cycle there, rollerblade here, rollerblade there.
Finally went back to the chalet.
Had some bbq, then went to the beach!
Darren got buried in sand!
And the Jianwei went to throw some unknown PAMPERS at him.
He got out of the sand instantly.
Then went back to the chalet to rest.
Darren bathed. ONCE.

Then went back to the beach AGAIN.
Brought all the sand utensils there.
And then, Darren and Jianwei went into the water cos' they fell inside or something =/
After that Darren and Jianwei went to ask some Malay guys for their HUGE styrofoam cos they and SURF on it.
And they really did.
Bah.

So Darren, Jianwei, Jianwei, Jianxiong's father went to swim to rinse themselves,
and then they came back to bathe.
So Jianxiong and Darren came back first, and Jianxiong went to bathe first.
They were half-naked.

So Darren was walking around half-naked and I was practically coughing at him.
'Asking' him to cover himself in a way.
He still didn't get it.
Bleh.

Okay so after that we went upstairs to send songs to each other, play PSP, gameboy and send videos.

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY DARREN!!
This is for yesterday cool party from you.

He invited me(qinyi), Rach, Mingfei, Yak Hang, Jianxiong and his brother, Jian Wei, to East Coast Park Chalet, Island Resort.
In the beginning, (before Jianxiong and Jianwei came) Yak Hang, Rach, and Darren rented bikes, while me and Ming use our roller blades, go all around the park, shiok sia!!! We went back to the chalet for a break, then Jianxiong and Jianwei came. Jianxiong and Darren wanted to use roller skates so me and ming exchange our roller blades with Jianxiong and Darren rented bicycle.
Jianwei cycle damn fast, none of us can catch up him at all, 3 times faster than us, we were cycling in a group, but soon we lost him at Bedok Jetty. Yak Hang tell me to ignore him and continue cycling forward. Soon after 15 mins ltr ( i think ), we reached .....
OUTWARD BOUND!!!!
Rach kept shouting ''BIBI!! BIBI!!'' i said ''siao ar!! 你以为我不想看到Cindy ar!!'' After 5 mins after reaching outward bound, we think that its too far, so me, Rach, Ming, and Yak Hang went back. We didn know that we've lost Darren and Jianxiong on our way back. Along the way, i needed to drink water urgently, so Rach press the brake, but it was too late, her bike have a;ready colided with Ming's bike, they both fall and had minor injuries, keep blaming me lol. By the time we went back to the chalet, the adults all started eating, so does th children. We waited for Jianxiong and Darren to come go to the beach, then we buried Darren in the sand, Jianwei go put a diapers on him, he embarressd until he jump out of the sand. Yak Hang go throw the ball into the sea, until have to call someone go pick the ball up and throw to us. Me and Ming watch the sun set damn nice sia, meanwhile, we buried our legs. Jianxiong and Darren came back from swimming with only with their pants. Jianxiong bathing that time keep shouting hot hot hot, then rach say he stupid, dunno how to turn to cooler water. The rest of us watching David Copperfield and Darren keep walking only with his pants, Rach keep ''çoughing'', u know wad i mean rite? After watching and they finish bathing, we went up the second storey, play PSP, Gameboy and bluetooth music to each oter. Darren sister jump on the bed until she fall down crying, Darren laugh like mad lor, he kena scolding from his mum oso. There's one boy rite, cry cause Jianxiong kick his head, he din asking him to keep quiet but he din want to, so i use my handphone go knock his head until he keep laughing so much. Not for long, Darren's dad fetch Rach, Ming and Yakhang home, while myself wait for my dad to fetch.. i think can end now liao

Ink incident which cause many people scolding Robert.

I not very sure about this incident, i will just brieflysay what happen.
Robert was playing the ''pen'' gun, when he accidently/purposely shoot the pen ink up to the ceiling,
the fan hit it and the pen ink broke, the ink spalt on some pupil's table, shirt, OAS and floor.
Darrel's shirt got lots of ink dots, like dalmantion.
Mr Kok didnt scold Robert but wrote down the incident on a piece of paper.
Like I said I am not very sure what as happen as I sit so far away from the place where the incident happen. You want more information ask Rach to post.
I posting for the sake of Yak Hang, okay!!!!

btw, gd luck to Andrea, Yuetwan, Lydia plus me for hcl paper, and to all 5-5ians their ss paper.

Haha, guess what he did!

During the English exam, in the last period Mrs Angela Chung came in.

Before she collected our papers, she wrote on the whiteboard 'Collection : 1. OAS, 2. Bklet B, 3. Bklet A.'

Raymond gave her the wrong papers, and so Mrs Chung refused to collect his paper.

After collecting everything, she counted the papers.

"39." she said, and then looked at Raymond.

She asked him to go to her table.

Here was their conversation:

Raymond still at table.

Mrs Chung : Raymond, pls come to my table *smiles*

Raymond : Ok.

Raymond walks to the table with his face red and still SMILING -.-

Raymond : Can I hand in my paper now?

Mrs Chung : No, you have move me first, like say something nice to me.

Classmates who shouts to him : Bow down and beg her! Cry and say sorry!

Raymond takes out his GREEN handkerchief and slams it on to his face.

5-5 LAUGHS.

Mrs Chung : Did I tell you to hand in your paper in THIS way?

Raymond : Yes, THIS way.

Whole class bursts into laughter.

Mrs Chung : Did I tell you to hand in your paper ANOTHER way?

Raymond : No, not ANOTHER way.

Whole class bursts into laughter again.

Mrs Chung : Say sorry to the paper.

Raymond : Hah........

Mrs Chung looks at him with scary eyes.

Raymond : I'm sorry paper!!

Mrs Chung : now say I love you paper.

Raymond : I love you paper. *blushes*

Whole class laughs so hard that their faces turn red.

I seriously was laughing SO hard!

I went around following Rayray during recess.

During Mr Wi's lesson today,

he asked us to do Science WB.

After that he wrote on the board:

Me, Siti and Geraldine was seriously SHOCKED.

Mr Wi recorded Robert and JunDe sing in his handphone and attempted to put it in Youtube.

English exam was..okay, for me.

Do not feel envious. Before I left, I have given the class TWO class parties on the last day of Term3 (Teacher's Day), isn't it? One during recess, the other after the Teacher's Day Celebration (with the pizzas). It's just that we did not celebrate it on Children's Day itself :)

Thanks Rachel for scanning the camp pix! All of you seem to enjoy the camp very much :) Enjoy your school holidays tomorrow. But not for me, as we @ NUS are to old to be children ha ;p

Next week is SA2 Oral exams:
1) Get back your English files (which are at the back of the classroom shelf).
2) Look through the set of notes that I've given you in Semester 1.
3) Remember whatever advice Mr Wi has taught you during revision.
4) Do not be afraid of the examiner. Treat them as your best friend so that you will have eye contact and feel comfortable talking to him/her.
5) Never keep quiet and say "I don't know."
6) If you are unclear about the examiner's question, politely ask him/her to repeat the question again. Do not say "Huh?", "You say what?", "What you talking?"etc...
7) Greet the teacher before and after the test.
8) SMILE!! BE CONFIDENT!!

SPARKC JOURNAL!

Day 1:
In the morning, everyone in 5-5, 5-7 and 5-9 assembled in the bus-bay. Jiansheng, Shawn and Jiarong didn want to go but there are still 3 more people absent - Lydia, Jodi and Tejas. Jodi was sick, the rest i dunno about it until I ask them. When we reach there, they divided us into 6 groups - Gemini, Hercules, Bootes, Taurus, Pegasus and Cygnus.
Gemini - Joyce, Mingfei, Meiwei, Jerome, Denise, Raymond
Hercules - Qinyi, Yuetwan, Jolene, Yakhang, Darrel, Don
Bootes - Rachel, Shinyoong, Junwei, Darron, Jacob...
Taurus - Siti, Nisa, Razif, Shahrul
Pegasus - Darren, Daphne, Yongjin, Pamela...
Cygnus - Robert, Geraldine, Andrea, Jianxiong...
P.s : I onli can tell some info about other grps because i in Hercules and i dunno about others.

Our instructor is Cindy Ng. She took us 4 a stroll around the campsite, we then went to take the haness, helmet, poncho, hiking bag. After that, 'went to Lunch, so much sia! I really cant finish the food so i ended up throwing away the food. Next we went to CRC (challenge rope course) , Loo Ziyi cried when he was up there. He was crying and doing it slowly......................... 10 mins over still up there...................... 15 mins later finally get down. I was doing it fast sia, cause i wanna get down quickly. We also played with the Black hole, i love that the most, it was really damn fun. We then did some other things, Darrel and Don was doing slowly until we were last to had our dinner. After dinner, we quickly pitch out tent as all the other group pitch b4 dinner time. Fun!!!! We then started taking our clothes to bath, the toilet was flooded, very high, almost above my ankle. The girls put the tent near the toilet, and behind some groups HQ (headquaters). As for the boys, they are damn lucky! Near the sea, so windy loh! Some tents almost fly away. While we was about to sleep, the fire drill started sounding, Everyone assembled at the place outside the office, except Darrel, no one knew where was he, until Don went to find him. Me, Elaine, Yuetwan, Jolene, Elizabeth sleep in one big tent, we wanted too sleep but that Jolene keep talking until I get annoyed and scolded her, she still talking to Geraldine Mah. Me and Yuetwan have no choice to stay awake until she finish talking. Soon everyone started going out of the tent. At 3AM, people started bathing, but soon instrutors all made us go back to tent. In total, i onli slept for 1/2 an hour coz of Jolene.

Day 2:
We assembled at Milky Wayfor assembly, after flag raising, we did exercise and tell us to count in different language. We had the breakfast after that. Soon, we went for abseiling, Ziyi went up there for 30 mins and still dun dare come down and was crying all the way long. Me, Yakhang, and some other members were getting mad at Ziyi and was scolding him. He didn dare cause he is scared of heights. He didn go down anyway, so we skip him, It was really very very fun!! After that, we went for lunch. We then went for rock climbing, i manage to reach all the way up, cause it was extremeley fun too! Ziyi didn manage to climb and cried again, i was like what the..... , cant climb up AGAIN! During dinner time, Denise and Jolene cried oso, cause of homesick! Please ar, i will never cry anyhow in front of people. When we slept in the treehut, everybody lie down and sleep soundly.

Day 3:
We went to Sugei Buloh wetland reserve for hiking. It was about a 2 hrs walk. It started raining when we about to reach the end. We wore our Poncho and continue walking. We oso needed to answer question about the nature. When we got back to campsite, we got back our wallets, EZ-link card etc. And we paid $1 for photos and take our Certificate of Completion. When get back to bus, we were all sharing our experience.

CONGRATS p5-5!! You've survived the SparkC Camp :)

Tough isn't it? There's no place better than home. I'm sure there are fun times too - staying and learning together with other Anthonians. It's definitely one experience that you will carry forever.
